After graduation I received a scholarship to Patricia Stevens Modeling School in Chicago.  I became a Charm and Poise Instructor and Model.  The modeling I did was primarily for fashion shows and photography.  I had a wonderful career and lived in Chicago for six years. 

Then I married my high school sweetheart, Eddie Bauer who went to Grayslake High.  We met in our gym at Grant and dated eight years.  We’ve now been married 45 years and have six wonderful children and nine grandchildren. 

We still go to Chicago for dinner, theater, boating, and visiting with my sister, Sandy.  I'm looking forward to moving back there soon; we're currently waiting for a south view at 400 E. Randolph. 

Our oldest daughter Linda has been a flight attendant for 25 years, and we have been able to travel all over the world, see many family and friends, etc.  Thank God we are not afraid to fly after 9/11!  We went to Germany last summer with our daughters and grandchildren.  I was so surprised how beautiful Germany was. We did a lot of touring and had a great time.  Almost every trip we make we have wonderful memories.  We have been so blessed and lucky.
