 I left Grant High School in 1952 and studied at Marquette University in Milwaukee for six years leaving with a Master’s Degree in English.  I then taught at Grant High School from 1958-1961.  I returned to school at the University of Michigan Law School from 1961 through 1964, being then employed by a Waukegan, Illinois law firm.  I moved my law office to Antioch in 1969 and still practice at 397 Lake Street, Antioch, IL.  I married Barbara in 1965 and have two children, Jim, age 32, and Bob, age 31.  We have five grandchildren, ages six months to five years; all of our children and grandchildren live within four miles.  Since 1965, I have lived in my great-grandfather’s house on Lincoln in Round Lake.  Incidentally, our home is within one block of Paul Frost’s and Sharon Hendee’s homes.
