Winnie married Vince Tascher soon after graduating from high school. She has three daughters, two of whom are married, and one son who is divorced. She has one granddaughter.
She worked for the Globe Dept. Store in Fox Lake for 25 years until it closed. For the past ten years, she has been working at International Star Registry on Wilson Road.
One of her daughters works in the Convention Industry planning and making arrangements for conventions in many interesting locations. This career affords her the opportunity to travel to many countries and locations, and Winnie has joined her daughter many times in travel. Some of the places she has seen are Hawaii, St. Thomas, England, Egypt, the Mediterranean area and at the time of the 50th Class Reunion, she will be on a cruise to Acapulco, Mexico.
Winnie loves to read and work crossword puzzles. She also likes to take an occasional trip to various gaming facilities to play bingo and the “slots.”
