The lull after graduation I married Harry - thus the year 2002 is our _50TH wedding anniversary. The year 2002 our granddaughter, Melissa, graduates from Eastern Illinois University. The year 2002 our great-grandson will be one year old!

We were blest with two sons and a daughter - have nine grand children - three great-grand children. My workdays outside the home were spent serving and being with the public in the retail business (23yr.). We moved to Long Beach, Ca. in 1993. Enjoy the ocean, our yard, and “Baby” (our cat). I love reading, doing handwork - (Kay (Kennel) gave me my first knitting lesson when we attended Gavin School together). I enjoy puzzles of all sorts and am trying to learn some computer skills, but find I lack patience. We visit the nursing home where we’ve made many friends. We’ve enjoyed traveling cross-country a few times. Probably if I could go back to high school years I would take my studies more seriously. As years pass and grand children graduate I well remember when we were able to sing a song with the word “God” in it - and our graduation ceremony sent us off with a word of prayer.

It is my hope that our ₅₀th year will also be a celebration year of peace and freedom from terrorism. Gods Blessings to You and Your Loved Ones -
