After graduation, Bonnie worked in a Clerical position at Great Lakes where she eventually met and married her second husband.  They were soon transferred to a California Seabee Base. 

Bonnie has been married and divorced twice.  She has a daughter Gail age 46 who lives in Washington and a son Brian age 31.  Brian and his Hawaiian wife are the parents of her two grandchildren, Brianna and Brian.  Brian and his family live in California. 

Bonnie retired in 1992 from her position as a Payroll Technician at the San Diego Naval Supply Center.  After retirement she kept busy with church activities and volunteerism until 1995 when she moved back to Round Lake Beach.  The move was necessary in order to look after her aged mother who celebrated her 94^th year this spring.

Since the move back to Round Lake Beach, she has been active with tutoring at the Jack Ellis Elementary School.
