CLASS NEWS LETTER

           

Since the last mailing, I received an e-mail from Bonnie Segal up-dating her address and telling me she retired Six years ago to Port Orange Florida, a suburb of Daytona Beach, She is alive and doing well, She is an adult literacy tutor and also works for the American Red Cross blood donor services.    

  Roger Smith, Bill Maddock and I graduated with Bonnie at Big Hollow Grade   School.

  

  Richard Mauck is well and happily retired from Baxter since July 4, 1997 and iving in Rock 

  Lake, Wisconsin. He and his wife Patti have 4 children and 7 grandchildren and all live near by 

  except one daughter living in Omaha with her husband. Starting next year Richard & Patti will

 

    be living in Florida during the winter months lucky him.

  Don Rosing and Paul Frost came into my store this winter, I hadn’t seen Paul in so long I didn’t  

  recognize him. Paul is going out to see Roger Smith in Olympia Washington this summer; Roge

Any one remember George Dreyer from the class of 1951? I sold him a deluxe 24’ pontoon boat last summer.  He still lives in Duck Lake and enjoys the outdoors.

I had a long talk with Peggy Rogers, she is retired in Florida, Two of her six sons also live in Florida, and her only daughter lives in Iowa. Peggy stays active and enjoys country line dancing                                                                                                                                

 

Had a talk with Donna Casey, she is in Naples Florida. She gave me the address for Barbara Baker who is in Ft. Meyers Florida and Rita Frankenstein. Rita did not graduate with us, but some of you will remember her. She is in Fountain Hill Arizona.                

 

 Received bad news from Carol Malheim Bunde that her brother, Alan Malheim  died in June of   

 1997. I had been trying to contact him as we had lost his address.

 

 Abadine Hughes had her daughter Rae Ann send me an e-mail, offering 

 her e-mail address as a contact for her mother who doesn’t have her own e-

 mail address but would like to hear from the class. Sobrncry1@aol.com
