My family moved to the Fox Lake area in October 1947 from Chicago, completed 8th grade at Fox Lake Grade School prior to entering Grant High.
After high school I went to work at OMC “Johnson Motors” in Waukegan and was employed as a tool and die worker for 17 years.
In 1955 I married my wife Donna and as the years passed our family grew, our son Daniel was born in 1959 followed in 1963 by our daughter Reging then in 1969 our daughter Janna was born completing the family.
We moved to McHenry in 1998 where I was working at Brake Parts, I worked there from 1983 to 1998 then I retired.
We have 4 grandsons David 17 – Devin 14 – Jordan 11 and Samuel 5
Son Daniel and his family live in Georgia near Savanna. Reging and family live outside of Crystal Lake, Janna is living in Chicago.
